Safety Speed Monitors

Safety Speed Monitors are used in applications where there is a high safety risk to people and machinery. It is necessary and required by law to fulfill certain safety criteria to reduce injury in these situations. The DS series Safety Speed Monitors are specifically designed for these industrial applications. These safety speed monitors are used to monitor underfrequencies, overfrequencies, direction of rotation and machine standstill. SIL3/PLe and SIL2/PLd certifications according to the DIN 61508 and ISO 13849 are standard on these safety speed monitors and the safety relays ensure maximum safety and plant availability.
